My favourite thing in sports is when a “proven veteran” who was great once, has been terrible for years but all the talking heads demand stays in “out of respect” because he “leads” is finally benched and the team is suddenly a lot better. I love it.

Imagine being told “hey, dont be the worst possible version of yourself” and responding “but then I can’t be funny!” If your only mode of clever is stepping on the marginalized, that’s on your lack of talent, not “The Comedy War”.
