.) The problem is that we’ve progressed enough where the agents of hatred and fear can only put forward the craziest proudest idiots to stand for their causes, prepared to gamble the fate of the human race with these morons to keep their scams running.

.) Over the years, I’ve gotten fairly good at taking constructive criticism. This is because I’ve bombarded myself with all possible forms of destructive criticism, for most of my life, and it has taught me the difference between the two from others.

.) Birds fly, fish swim, moles dig down deep, all get tools to use and keep. Hephaestus worst at being handsome but forging armor just the bestest. There are those who can lament entire world in a single song, all I got are words, but they’re what I get, I gotta play along.

.) The desire to be famous just to be famous is our national scourge. I much prefer people who want to be famous because it’s the only way to make a living at the thing they love doing. Even the crazies who just wanna be really rich are better than the fame-for-fame’s sake people, though.

.) If there is a heaven, they’ll figure out how to gentrify it eventually. The meek inherited the Earth, sure, but the shamelessly entitled figured out how to price us out our neighborhoods with Starbucks infestations anyway, how would heaven be any different yet?

.) People who’ve decided they ARE good no longer try to BE good. People who’ve decided they’re perfect never try to get better, they think there’s no such thing. That’s one thing I’ll give to the fractured and flailers, the bungled and the botched: every day, we get up and try again.

.) The past no longer exists, the future never will, there is now, there is only eternal now, there is an infinity of eternal now.

.) Long ago, we judged our beauty/handsomeness against the few hundred people we knew on a regular basis, creating reasoned granular expectations. Now we have these boxes where we can see the ten prettiest people on Earth at all times and we all feel like crap.
