.) All the bad-futures focusing on business thought we’d have our identities formed by what mega-corps we worked for, turns out, it’s going to be instead by what media mega-corps we buy our entertainment from instead. Hit the target but not the bullseye.
.) So many want to make things better but no one wants to think about the sacrifices and compromises you must make to get there or calculate the risk of how much worse things could get if you fail. Progress comes over time and half of it is knowing when to leave well enough alone.
.) If there’s a version of yourself dependent on aversion of yourself, let it go. You’re never going to be anyone other than you, you are stuck with you for the duration.
.) Devo probably never contemplated my approach, where when a problem comes along, I must carefully refine my expectations and choices to minimize my life until the problem no longer effects me enough to merit action. Their way’s probably healthier, though.
.) A fan-fic about a minor royal family in DUNE, House Rogers, whose motto is “The Nice Must Flow!”
.) The highest grossing horror movie in Utah’s history is THE VILLAGE OF THE DARNED.
.) In American America, Netflix watches YOU!
.) If a business is only hiring if you REALLY wow them, do they put out a “Help-Curious” ad?
