.) I wonder how many people tried smoking actual bath salts when they heard of drugs colloquially called “bath salts” and I wonder how it worked out for them.
.) Sometimes I think Ollie doesn’t hate other dogs because he considers them threats but rather because he wants to be human so badly that he just loathes all dogness.
.) On a one-to-one basis, love is more powerful than hate. Massively so. Difficulty is that our society is structured to give hate the numbers advantage because hate is so very very profitable.
.) I mean, I’m sure that King Arthur has battled zombies somewhere but if they didn’t call it KNIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, they really messed up.
.) Fear, I’ve found, is largely just a nice suit hate will put on when it wants to look respectable.
.) Alec Baldwin was arrested for getting into a fight over a parking space. His punishment is having to be associated with Saturday Night Live’s crushing unfunniness for another two to six more years.
.) Remember, fellow lefties, simply “siding with science” won’t necessarily save us. Eugenics was “science” for a long time too. Electroshock to “cure” LGBT identity was “science” for a while. Science can boomerang on us, being humane is better.
.) Did Zach Morris’s sociopathic wish-fulfillment protagonist character on SAVED BY THE BELL prime sections of my generation to mistake Trump’s bald selfishness for heroism? Yes. Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk.
.) The year is 2050. An ancient ailing James Cameron is on his deathbed, surrounded by a loving family. He strains to speak his final words: “Everyone will love Avatar 2 so much when it comes out in 2055…”
.) It wasn’t an authentic New York Deli sandwich but it was certainly reubenesque.
.) Interesting failure is a thousand times more valuable than successful mediocrity.
