.) The past was terrible but the good news is everyone was used to it & just thought it normal. The now is terrible but the bad news is everyone’s used to it & just thinks it normal. The future will be terrible but the good news is everyone will be used to it & just think it normal.

.) Weirdly, I think that having a bad memory for small details (even though I have a good memory for generalities and the broad strokes) helps me as a writer. Because I have to write everything down… I’m always writing everything down, y’know?

.) If you want to be a seamstress, you may have to quilt your day job.

.) The movie “Hook” except instead of Rufio, Mark Ruffalo. Everything else, exactly the same.

.) I would write a parody of “Buffalo Girls Won’t You Come Out Tonight” about the old Bubble O’Bill ice cream bar but I may be one of the few people in the world in the middle of that Venn Diagram.

.) Seems unfair to say the Goosebumps 2 trailer looks unconscionable terrible, as it’s just a cheap holiday-cash-in kiddie film, but… use that Gummy Bear meme song from ten years ago and all bets are off.

.) Guy Fieri just said “That’s like a meat sundae!” and he said it with pleasure instead of disgust. I know some people defend him to be contrary or ironically but… there is no defending saying that with pleasure.

.) Our role in the world is so clearly screwed, our own military recruitment ads admit that parents will think their kids are suicidally crazy to sign up to go defend an oil rig for Putin. “Support their decision.” Jesusing Christ.

.) You don’t get credit for charity if you’re only doing it for the tax write-off, just like you don’t get credit for community service if you’re just doing it for Community Service.

.) Every time I think we have reached Peak Rich Out-Of-Touch Douchebag, Musk or Trump says “hold my goblet”. A tequila branded after an overpriced cars for show-offs. 2018, people.
