.) I feel like I’ve been falling through the sky for the better part of a year now, I guess, if that makes any sense. Every once in a while I reach for a ripcord like a phantom limb but no parachute comes forthwith, let alone a landing, harsh or otherwise. Not good way. I was really close with my dad, y’know, and I kind of don’t know who I am without him. I’m worried about my mom and my brother nearly all the time, I have my writing but my mom hates that I’m a writer and I’m making little money off it, I don’t have a job, I don’t have a partner, just a bunch of moneysinks and more gray hairs on my chin. It’s like falling without even the finality of a thud, I guess, just… keep on falling. There was a time in my life when living without a plan felt like a thrill or an ideological statement or a psychological coping mechanism to stave off my panic and my anxiety… these days, it feels like a broken crutch.
.) Wherever you’re not looking, there it is.
.) Whatever makes me who I am also makes me remember every commercial jingle since the day I was born but not my own cellphone number.
.) Every time I read someone on the internet who believes themselves a dragon or unicorn refer to themselves as “otherkin” I want to write a parody of “Mama Kin” that no one sane would get.
.) In Canada, the board game “Sorry” is called “Soreie”.
.) Sociopaths believe everyone is a sociopath and that empathy is just something people pretend to have to get things. This has been my TEDTalk explaining everything bad in America today.
.) PRESIDENTIAL ALERT: We Haven’t Had A Legitimate President In Almost Two Years. Action Is Desperately Needed.
.) Can an American cellphone marry a Canadian cellphone for citizenship? Askin’ for a friend.
