.) An Old Navy Christmas ad involving the line “Sleep In Heavenly Fleece”.
.) I mean, sure, there are times you just start singing “You Make Me Feel Like Dancing” in the style of Danzig.
.) I still can’t get over all the Jill Stein voters complaining about Trump. Kids, you voted against the grown-up in the room because it made you feel edgy. This is your fault as much as it is anyone’s.
.) Lesson is, if you want a 3rd party, great. Build an actual functioning 3rd party through real grassroots, through real candidates in local offices, working your way up. Voting for a doomed vanity ego-candidate attached to a third party fails both your grassroots & our mainstream.
.) Did they really cancel the fake president’s Military Penis Parade on a Friday afternoon when the press would let it go quietly into the weekend? Really? That is adding insult to idiocy right there.
.) If you didn’t want my generation to steal movies and songs digitally, maybe you shouldn’t have raised us on Saturday morning sugar-conveyance ads glorifying the cereal-thief lifestyle.
.) You meet most of the rest of the party at a table in the local inn. Where is the bard? He is in the corner signing “Alehouse Rock”. You are reconsidering if your party composition really requires a bard after all.
.) A good hero to have is the guy who pulled off the Max Headroom pirate television broadcast in Chicago in the ‘80s because (a.) it was one of the coolest things that ever happened and (b.) as long as he’s anonymous, you never have to find out he was racist or something else awful.
.) Change your name to Nosmo King so that in ten thousand years, the alien anthropologists might draw the conclusion that all the No Smoking signs they found were tributes to you, the greatest human of them all.
.) The only stuff worth collecting is the really cool junk that is never going to be rare enough to be of any monetary value. They can’t ruin worthless junk on us, just find the really really cool worthless junk. Find joy in that and you’ll do all right.
