.) Why call them “nano-bots” when you could’ve called them “microbe-machines”? Legal reasons?

.) A multi-lingual “Who’s On First?” routine based around the exchange “Seahorses?” “Ci, horses!”

.) I’m actually all for importing boy bands from other countries. All boy band lyrics are fundamentally dull and facile but, in a language I don’t understand, I can’t tell and can’t be annoyed!

.) Putin’s embittered past as a KGB agent in the failed Cold War fueling his future madness matches up to Hitler’s failure in World War One quite well. Trump having been on the world scene first and being a useful idiot to the younger madman lines up with Mussolini almost perfect.

.) If you’re applying for a job at IKEA, definitely put “shelf-starter” and “shelf-promoter” in your cover letter.

.) The dog has worked out that when I put on a belt, it means that I’m going somewhere. Does he think that humans just wear their collars around the waist? This dog is brilliant if obscenely emotionally damaged and so he is, of of course, family to me.

.) Flash-fiction backlog complete. 71 short stories of around 500 words done. Looking at the sent box in my e-mail, all of the e-mails I’ve sent in the last two months have been like a thousand submissions of the flash-fiction to the group and two e-mails to a dear friend from college. Nothing else. But it continues on, Wednesday I get to find out what the word for next week is! Life is an adventure.

.) The best way to greet someone who went to the same college as you is “So, I hear we owe the same people money.”
