.) They’re trying to say they’re alt-punctuation but we all know they’re just the same old grammar Nazis.
.) I would give a show starring Mindy Kaling and Bjork called “Bjork and Mindy” a chance, sure.
.) The thing about being a Mets fan first and foremost, trained in the dark art of pragmatic anger that comes with it, when I found out my alma mater Syracuse made the NCAA tournament, my reaction was “I mean, they don’t deserve it, they’re too bad”.
.) Six weeks after my dad’s abrupt passing, I’m completely unmoored, spend most of my time doubting my instincts, my sense of what is & what’ll be, emptied out. Dunno who to trust, what to trust, what to do, just trying to not (I’m doing it now) navel-gaze my pain publicly TOO much.
.) A white guy, a black guy and a Hispanic guy walk into a bar. As these traits say nothing about their personalities, no narrative can be derived just on those facts, the end.
.) So Tillerson was fired hours after criticizing Russia for conducting assassinations on our ally Britain’s soil. When will the “patriots” on the right admit Trump is owned by Vlad Putin? When will the purity police on the far left unite with us against the real enemy?
.) Lobot from STAR WARS has a disappointing frat-boy son, Brobot.
.) The weakest part, by about a million, of the Stephen Colbert show are those lame opening black-out skits. It is kind of astonishing as it’s a great show but the opening skits are almost SNL bad. Do they out-source them or something?
