she don’t got legs, she’s some kind of fish-thing
oh how she begs, with hopin’ and wishing
she wants legs, made of human meat
all the way down to, oh, what is the word, feet?
her dad forbade… she has to stay a mermaid
that’s what he said

she’s got a voice, that she can sing with
she could trade away, maybe with a sea-witch
you know she wants to marry, someone that’s human
if they had kids, they’d surely end up mutants
when there’s magic… it can get tragic
you might end up dead

she don’t got legs, she’s some kind of fish-thing
oh how she begs, with hopin’ and wishing
she’ll fall in love, at the drop of a glove
with any random guy, who lives up above
she just wants a real ass… to shake to the funk-y bass
the girl’s got no legs, there’s no legs
