I was never grounded as a child. Even if I were, I don’t think it would have worked as a punishment. I spent a lot of time in my room, and didn’t socialize much. It would have been a better punishment if I were told “GET OUT OF THE HOUSE, SOCIALIZE, AND DON’T COME BACK UNTIL AFTER TEN.”

I got grounded a few times, but it didn't really last more than an hour or so. Not to mention I had a TV and at least one or two video game consoles in my room so...clearly my parents didn't realize you're suppose to take those things out lol.

I didn't have a TV or computer in my room at the time. I was quite content to put some music on, and either dance or write.

Me too, there really wasn't anything to ground me from.

Haha. My parents would do that to me if I stayed inside too long. One time in 4th grade my mom locked me out of the house and I sat on the porch for 2 hours. I think I even fell asleep.
