I did some cleaning yesterday. Like. Seven hours straight of cleaning. I feel like a LOT of my anxiety has been lifted. I swear, I knew part of the reason I've been so off is because of all the clutter in my living space. The other day I was watching Home Alone (three times, ha ha) while cleaning and every time I heard "This is my house, I have to defend it!" I got super-motivated.
I say this because I just POOF, paid all my bills this morning like it was nothing. Of course, it helps that I actually went to sleep at a reasonable hour (11:20) last night, and woke up this morning before my alarm (6:20). SLEEP, I LOVE YOU, I'M SORRY I'VE FORESAKEN YOU. Seriously, if I go to bed later and sleep more, I feel far shittier than when I go to bed earlier and sleep seven hours flat.
I bought myself some stuff for christmas, because fuck yeah, I deserve things. But really, when Candi moved out, she took her PS3, and it only made sense to just buy myself a goddamned PS3. That's a one-time expense, and I even resisted buying any ps3 games. I have a couple on the shelf I haven't even played yet. In my head, I have a monthly budget, which I've broken down into a weekly budget. Which, I think I can actually hold to. I forget who on facebook posted it, but when you're tight on money and you pay your rent, it really makes you appreciate your living space.
THIS IS MY HOUSE. I HAVE TO DEFEND IT.
