If you think it’s a complete impossibility for the US government to just relocate people, don’t forget the Trail of Tears, or Japanese concentration camps (during WWII), or that we had an entire Civil War over a state’s right to enslave another human being. As soon as we see someone “unamerican” because of their race, bad things happen.

Just this week I was reading about the government-condoned persecution and internment of German-Americans (even Mennonites) during the First World War. This crap has happened time and time again, and, sadly, shows no signs of ever going away.
