Masculinism. in The Napkin.

Twelve years ago, I actually wrote a small blurb about masculinism. I felt that the key axion of feminism came down to choice, and as well, the key axion of masculinism came down to the choice.

It was a passing thought and never something I clung to. I eventually accepted that feminism SUPPORTS choice for men. Moreover, to have some male-centric word as the moniker takes something away from women. THINGS ARE NOT EQUAL. And as much as there are inequalities towards men, these are very very small things compared to the inequalities towards women.

Heck, I almost forgot about this until the recent surgance of the word “menism”. I’m aware the word originally was not supposed to be anti-women. But when “men’s right’s activists” are using their platform not to talk about male issues but to discount female issues, there’s a problem.

People that think feminism is anti-male are STUPID. FEMINISM IS NOT ANTI-MALE. The fem-Nazi is a myth perpetuated by men who are afraid of losing their position of power. What’s the matter, afraid of men being treated by women the way women are treated by men? I call myself a feminist to both stand with women and to not put my issues first. Equality for women means equality with men. Duhhh.
