  1. Contractions often involve self-fulfilling apostrophes.

  2. A series of Halloween commercials for a bread and soup place starring Samuel L Jackson called “Snakes, Au Bon Pain”.

  3. An album of Radiohead covers done in the chip-tune style of the Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out soundtrack called “K.O. Computer”.

  4. I really enjoyed pronouncing Q-Bert as if it were from the French, like, “Kew-BEAR”.

  5. In Soviet Russia, death cheats YOU.

  6. That SNL “Ladies and Gentlemen, The Weekend” meme except with a picture of Donald Pleasance and the caption “And a Pleasance good evening to you.”

  7. Why call it “artificial intelligence” when you could call it “a faked organism”?

  8. Hallowe’en stuff just hits different when they keep the apostrophe. It’s either gonna be rad in, like, an old fashioned Charlie Brown barn dance kinda way or an Old Fashioned naked drum circle kinda way and both are outstanding.
