One take on my potential NaNoWriMo is to split myself into three perspectives: Father, son, and the one in between. As it’s a TimmyNovel, they’d all be failures. HA HA.

Like, I could write What Would I Do Ideally?

And then react to that as the Total Shithead I Could Be.

Sometimes because of past events, we just react to things badly.

Let’s suppose your current day dad found The Correct Words. Or, at least, tried to. Somehow, someway, it would go wrong.

Kind of the opposite of Homering. To fail despite doing everything right.

All novels are some form of therapy. Maybe I’ll hand-wave some resolution at the end. OR MAYBE I WON’T. Because some stories are just that, stories. No conclusion or grand finalé.

Just spare thoughts. Carry on, and equip condoms.
