  1. The dog isn’t poorly trained, he’s just… uh… an exposure-therapy dog.

  2. Anytime someone looks like they’re holding an invisible loaf of bread but they’re not literally pretending to hold a loaf of bread, they’re probably crazy.

  3. 83% of BBC programming, hell, of “prestige programming” in general seems to be about wanting to have sex but in a time when personal hygiene was goddamned appalling.

  4. More than anything, I see FalconAndWinterSoldier & I’m like Bunny from Big Lebowski. Sure, spies & quips & punches are great but they went full MUHOLLAND DRIVE with wandavision & it’s hard to get as excited about the old North Dakota farmstead. Comic book insanity forever.

  5. It’s interesting to see Mike Myers has been replaced by his statue from Madame Tussauds. It’s definitely a choice.

  6. At the scale of the universe, reality is mostly empty space. At the scale of an atom, reality is mostly empty space. Somehow, we live in the tiny sliver of a sweet spot in-between where the gravy’s lumpy enough for anything to be real. And in the end, that’s kind of neat.

  7. Borderline-billionaire Jersey bar-rocker spending the back-end of his life trying to pose as a put-upon heartland dirt farmer, it’s such a… weird kabuki, I dunno. Never understood it. It’s like a Benjamin Button of Robert Zimmerman.

  8. I drove past a place called The Colonial Laundromat and I felt bad for whoever ran it before it was colonized.
