Is there a duller more generic more lacking-in-lore continuing franchise than Fast and the Furious’s… filmed sequences? You’d figure I’d pick something up more than “Meathead punch other meathead, car go vroom vroom” by sheer cultural osmosis after nine releases but nah.

Less stories where the underdog wins, more stories where the underdog realizes the thing they wanted was ridiculous, they were underdogs for reasons constructed into the scam from the beginning and they go do something more meaningful instead.
