N and I went to Watertown this weekend to visit my fam and celebrate Easter/April birthdays. It was fun. Nobody cried this year, so that is a step in the right direction. It's obvious that I don't like J, (everyone else hides it better than I do) I pretty much close my eyes instead of look at her every time she says something stupid.

The workout stuff is still going well. Haley and I haven't actually signed up for the race yet, which is odd. We should really do it before we get stuck with the noon one when its like 90000 degrees outside. The training is going well. The weather isn't consistently nice enough to exercise outside (all week is is supposed to be 30-40 degrees, windy, and rainy) but once it warms up I will start running.

The debt snowball is going well too. I mentioned on the 16th of April my first student loan was paid off. Thats $125/month that I can spend on whatever I want. Incidentally, it will go towards our debt snowball, since that's sort of the idea (you build momentum and it keeps growing).

We are doing something that isn't necessarily Dave Ramsey approved though. Now that we paid off our cars, credit cards, and one student loan each, we are going to put our debt snowball on PAUSE and start saving exclusively for a house/building an emergency fund. Putting away $2000+ a month is going to be tough, but it will give us a good start on a down-payment. We have been looking for a while now and mostly it is just overpriced shit on the market around here. We are also considering the idea of buying land and building our own. Literally, building our own house...ourselves. As if you would expect anything else from us. :) <3 Sarah
