  1. If only Ollie were more familiar with the Rolling Stones catalogue, I’m sure he’d find me singing “I CAN’T GET NO, SASSY FAT DOG” to him funny.

  2. It’s astonishing the extent to which the fringe-far-left basically just absorbs and unconsciously reiterates Fox News right-wing talking points, using “liberal” as an epithet, believing wild conspiracy theories about the Clintons, etc. Squint, you can’t tell one from the other.

  3. If the survival of the Post Office weren’t at stake, Trump & Bezos having a pissing match over who’s wrecking America faster would actually be kinda funny. They’re both just scavenger thieves, ripping copper out the walls for scrap, who think they’re goddamn geniuses.

  4. The problem w/ emotional populism, on the left on the right either way, is telling people what they wanna hear, whether it’s likely or not, reasonable or not, possible or not, & they just go w/ it. I instantly distrust anyone telling me what I want to hear & making it sound easy.

  5. It is rich to see SNL mock Trump’s craven idiocy now when no source more concretely minted him as a “legitimate mainstream candidate” than that show. Had Michaels not given into the cash grab ratings stunt of having the monster host, his candidacy dies in the crib.

  6. I just had an intense multi-cycle dream about superhumans shaping human history during a series of time-traveling multi-generational self fulfilling prophecies where I lived out the lives of four overlapping characters that didn’t know they were the same consciousness. In short, I could like Quarantine Dreams to piss off, for God’s sake, I’ve taken 125 mg of diphenhydramine and pray for a tight dreamless seven hours of rest to come. Holy. Crap.

  7. This nightmare was a little bit more acceptable, I guess, more about my being a well-intentioned screw-up then fading into meeting a vampire who was a stand-up comic because it was a great cover for why he was never out in daylight.

  8. A demonic cowboy persona for a dark-country artist called Yosemite Samhain.
