.) “Greed is good” was bad enough in the ’80s, throw “Hate is profitable” on top of it in the ’10s and this is where we are now.
.) Do you think Manilow would ever stop singing that “I Write The Songs” crap if someone would just go up to him like “okay, we get it, we get it, you wrote the songs, thanks for the melodies, now shut up about it”?
.) Warning, nearly all foods you can buy in the grocery story contain a dangerous chemical known to contribute to rust and fires. It is called “oxygen”. Don’t be anti-science in your quest to say healthy.
.) If someone is loudly singing along to You’re So Vain “Clowns in your coffin, CLOWNS IN YOUR COFFIN” you will know that I am there.
.) Reminder: the television series DINOSAURS was not only greenlit, not only made the air but was briefly inexplicably incredibly popular. Human culture is volatile, uneven and often flat-out stupid. Trying to predict the zeitgeist is a fool’s errand.
.) The straight path’s the easiest and quickest, sure, but you won’t learn much, let alone much about yourself. The winding path’s hard & full of heartache but you’ll learn, you’ll learn about yourself, you might even learn the original goal was stupid & you’ll change.
.) Why call it a “reality competition series” when “lame show” would be both more clever and more honest?
.) If you need to know how many terrifyingly-phallic monsters are going to be in a given movie, all you need to do is quickly scan it with a Giger counter.
