.) In Soviet terrible nu-metal, floor lets the bodies hit you.
.) Some people can fake it ‘til they make it. Not me. Once I’m good at something, I’m really good, but my confidence comes AFTER my competence, not the other way around. It’s frustrating in the short-term but in the long-term it’s a good way to be.
.) One of my superpowers is I can often cover for any number of negative emotions by simply playing a little scatterbrained or absent minded. I can often be incredibly flustered, overwhelmed or offended but play it off like I’m just a little distracted. It helps!
.) Also this week, I learned that on country roads you can hydroplane on just a little bit of rain, if the dirt that tractors drag across the pavement turns into a sheen of mud. That’s a new one on me, personally.
.) Not enough people would understand why selling a tiny khaki purse covered in little pockets on the outside as a “Cargo Clutch” would be completely awesome.
.) If there was a BDSM house where the dom was the GM and the subs were all the players… and they hated D&D but that was the punishment… would that be… Dungeons and Dungeons?
.) As my dieting the last two years has been more about stabilizing blood sugar than weight or strength, I was confused about how the weight loss from working two on-my-feet jobs was plateauing until I realized “oh yeah, now instead of losing fat, I’m building muscle, weird”.
.) GLASS BOTTOMED BOATS, YOU MAKE THE TOURIST NERDS GO WILD
