.) Believe a storyteller too literally and you might be myth taken.
.) Long term stock investments are all about the company you keep.
.) If I were a Highlander, I would hang out with vampires because, hey, they’d understand the whole immortal thing but not wanna chop my head off.
.) LESS DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT, MORE UPLOADABLE CONTENTMENT!
.) Astonishing how little of the drug “fame” it takes to make humans chase their ugliest impulses, believing themselves immune to consequences because of said fame. Today’s example is the youtuber “ProJared” but there’ll be a new one every day until humanity is extinct.
.) Hell isn’t other people. Hell is seeing other people only as vehicles for or roadblocks against your enjoyment. Hell is being so hidebound to your own damn self you’re utterly alone and in denial that loneliness is why you’re unhappy.
.) Doubt is an engine, hope a fuel. Without each other, they’re just a static lump of parts and a puddle evaporating back into the empty air. You’re gonna need both, and both in strong measure, if you wanna keep progressing forward.
.) The moment you believe yourself inherently good or right just because you’re you is the moment you lose the plot forever. Goodness, rightness, wisdom, grace… they’re a forever receding horizon you gotta constantly evolve with, chase, until your legs give out for good.
.) Confidence will do in a pinch but it cracks and backfires so easily. Calm is the far stronger play.
.) Whenever I try to write a story about a timeline where the Challenger got home safe, it always has the first teacher in space end up the president and… it’s stupid to believe in an America that graceful but my heart wants it to be so.
