.) Willie Mays, once an all-time great, lost trying to play in the outfield because he didn’t know that two years ago was the time to go away. It happened before I was even born but the image is burnt behind my eyes and I don’t know why.

.) Ten billion possible pasts filtering into a single now. Ten billion possible futures lie before it too. The chokepoint, the bottleneck that is the single lonely current state of you.

.) The current Grateful Dead song for Ollie goes like “walkin’ a dog/that eats like a hog/watch your step you don’t know/where he peed/poop pile ahead/poop pile behind/now he barks at something/in his mind/now he barks at something/just in his mind”.

.) You probably know that Mr. T’s character in THE A-TEAM was named B.A. Barracus but you probably DON’T know that B.A. stood for Bon Appetit.

.) In the Garfield universe, animals that can’t think at a human level are called Mundanes and he hates the hell out of them but has a speech difficulty where he mispronounces it as Mondays.

.) A dream where every time I went back to my wallet, more of my life was missing, split into more and more different wallets that I couldn’t keep track of and pretty soon I was lost.

.) The best part about the statement “I’ve never been more ready” is that people can take it like you’re being confident when, really, you mean that you’ve never been ready for anything, just like no one has been ready for anything ever.

.) I hate that Trump is right that SNL is incredibly unfunny but a stopped clock is right twice a day, I guess. He’s wrong about WHY they’re unfunny, of course, so the universe still makes SOME sense.
