On Umbrellas. in The Napkin.

Walked the kids to school this morning, as usual. Seconds out, we realized it was raining. That’s fine, I snagged two umbrellas for us. I said two. One for each kid. Figured I would endure the rain, whatever it happened to be.

It was rather mild, they folded up the umbrellas more than once.

On the way back, it started raining again. Harder. I openned one. I passed by a dad with his daughter. Seen him plenty of times to and from school. I asked if he needed an umbrella. He accepted.

Touched base with my Wife about this. She said “Maybe they can’t afford one.” It’s true, maybe.

I don’t really care if I get it back. Up to him if he chooses to remember, or to pay it forward to someone else. Don’t tell me northern atheists are not nice.
