.) I wonder how many Starfleet personnel refuse assignment on ships named Enterprise, like, “nah, man, the Enterprises always, like, time travel and fight demi-gods and stuff, I just signed on to shoot lasers at people in bad prosthetics a few times then collect my space-pension.”

.) People freaking out, claiming the Star Wars sequels are worse than the prequels basically do so under the logic of “oh, the racist lizard-bunny who was constantly farted at and stepping in poop, that’s fine but LEADS WHO ARE WOMEN OR PEOPLE OF COLOUR? that’s just too far!”

.) When you reject the good for not being perfect, the worst will inevitably rise to the top in short order.

.) If I was ridiculously pointlessly rich, I would open a restaurant in New Orleans called “Dillsbury Po’boys” just to see if they’d sue me for it.

.) Human beings are arbitrarily granted more or less opportunities for education, more or less access to health care, more or less enforcement of their human rights depending on where they are born and to whom they are born. It sounds unconscionably cruel when you lay it out plain.

.) If you’re painting yourself up for Darth Maul cosplay, are you getting Sith-faced?

.) We’re all survivors, you know, every single one of us, until the day that we’re not and that day comes for every single one of us too. It’s not about how far we get, though, or how long we survive but what we manage to do for each other while getting that short time to run.

.) Your documentary about the failure of BATTLEFIELD EARTH will be called TERL, INTERRUPTED.

.) From what I know of the flag code, the folks who put a little blue stripe on the American flag to claim that lives of police matter more than the lives of people of color are being INFINITELY more disrespectful than people peacefully protesting racial injustice during the anthem.

.) How did I never write a parody called “Rambo Number Five”?
