1.) That mash-up of ROCKY MOUNTAIN WAY and WELCOME TO THE MACHINE will be depressing but it’ll have one hell of a rhythm.

2.) Your HOUSE/BILL & TED crossover fan-fiction will have the running gag “It’s Not Rufus!”

3.) As a mainstream medium slowly fades into niche, it becomes up-market and all the snobs come a running to suddenly get involved, same as it ever was, same as it ever was. Happened with arthouse movies, happened with public radio, it’s starting to happen with teevee.

4.) Every time the dog starts barking, I ask him if “Timmy fell down a well” but he never seems to get the reference, the uncultured little bastard.

5.) The halving of the Marvel Universe is particularly affecting to me, I guess, because these last few months of my life have felt the same, people disappearing and blowing away in a snap, no rhyme or sane reason, just happening. We bring our baggage to our theatre seats, of course.
