.) At the end of Willy Wonka, was Violet Beauregarde… berried alive?

.) The other big thing saving my mind in the middle of this all is a tool my dad left me, maybe even specifically for situations like this, my writing. All the comedy and science-fiction writing he filled my head with, in these lonely days and nights and weeks and months, it’s there, waiting to come out in new forms… giving me something to think about other than loss and the long-term ramifications thereof. It’s probably why I didn’t have a total nervous breakdown (yet). Thanks, Pop, you help me even from beyond.

.) Pies are difficult because crimpin’ ain’t easy.

.) Yes, I was singing the “Power Wheels” ad jingle to the cat as “Meow meow MEOWER-WHEELS meow meow MEOWER-WHEELS MEOWER-WHEELS! KING OF THE CATS!” why? Why do you ask?

.) The fact that I feel like “GIRL, YOUR BRAIN IS THICC WITH WISDOM!” should be a good pick-up line is probably part of my problem.

.) Another way to make sure pick-up lines don’t work on you is that when someone asks you what your type is, say “daggereo” and then hold up a really old timey picture of something.

.) Most Who Do Not Wander Are Just As Lost As The Rest Of Us.

.) The most American things in history are the one or two watery sour cherry tomatoes that drift lonely in every fast-food salad. As minimal and lazy a gesture toward being healthy, there is not. People who LIKE tomatoes throw ‘em out. People who don’t like tomatoes throw ‘em out.
