.) Apathy is funda-MEH-tal.

.) It seems like the monsters are the ones who always push a “when you fight monsters, you become them” narrative to try & stop you from fighting monsters. FIGHT MONSTERS. Ask ‘30s Europe, the people who DON’T fight monsters to save their own asses are the ones who become monsters.

.) If a porn star saves us from a neo-fascist invasion, goddamn us for not fighting back enough for non-salacious reasons but also thank you, Ms. Porn Star. Whatever it takes.

.) It’s hard to not compound the hard time I’m having dealing with losses by also kicking myself for not writing as much as I’d want to. I’m still doing SOME writing, thankfully, I can’t NOT write a little but… a short poem or two and a flash fiction storylet a week is so frustratingly little for me. Not really able to write comedy or parody at all, just serious or melancholy stuff. I’m so used to having the emotional energy to do two or three open mics a week and the muse to have six to eight new pieces a week to throw at the wall and… in a small way, the guilt makes everything a little bit harder. So much of my identity is writing and performing said writing, I guess.

.) “Don’t think of them as mistresses,” the dungeonmaster begged his wife as she left with the kids and all of his dice, “they were just side-quests, baby!”

.) It should literally be illegal for the “Long Island Medium” to exploit the suffering and grief of people like this, asking leading questions and having planted informants to make a buck off pretending there’s magic. She should 100% be rotting in prison.

.) Quit being surprised that the Republican Party prefers Vlad Putin to the functioning of the American democracy. Their leaders prefer the money to their own nation, the rank-and-file would rather side with racism than their own nation. We’ve known this for a while.

.) If I ever become an avant-garde composer, I am totally going by the stage name “Gary deBussy”.
