1.) Good is better than perfect. Perfection has no room to change, no room to grow. Without change, in a generation, the old perfect will be evil & cruel because perfect gets stuck in its moment and what’s right moves on. Omnia mutantur. The perfect is the enemy of the good.

2.) It was easy to prove that the heart surgeon killed the patient on purpose, it was an open-and-shunt case.

3.) If you keep calling 911 just because you have a crush on the EMT, that makes her or him a thirst responder.

4.) Do you think that in a jailhouse interview or Skyping in from his exile to Russia in 10 or 15 years, the admitted rapist Trump will try to take credit for the rise of women’s empowerment in politics?

5.) There are not enough puns on the fact that film/theatre/lighting crews have “gaffer’s tape” and that some call the tuck-binding for the male package in crossdressing a “gaff”. Not enough people know enough about both, I guess.

6.) She doesn’t like to say she’s “planning to build a bunker for her death cult”, she says she just has “compound interest”.

7.) Oh boy, my story idea for this week’s Flash Fiction workshop is… weird.

8.) How sad it is when you see someone who only gets through this world on inherited money and connections, running around believing that they’re actually smart or good looking or talented or interesting or charismatic? What a particularly sick delusion.
