1.) Legal/medical/cop procedurals are weird, their strict structure often keeps them from being unwatchable but also from being actually good. Television drama is hard for me these days because I don’t care much about mysteries and twists, I like characters and themes.

2.) The Cars’ “Lets Go” and “Mony Mony” would mash-up perfectly and you know it.

3.) I need a change in my life but going back to school for no good reason or taking a job where I lose money with the commute are not answers. Unable to get life in immediate order, my way of being responsible has been to minimize responsibilities upfront. Not ideal but ethical-ish.

4.) Generating content does not necessarily mean generating contentment.

5.) Easy to rail against career politicians & elect bigtalk neophytes but the people who know how to make the gov’t work are career politicians.

6.) Current mood: feeling like I was hit by a dump truck driven by some minor deity.

8.) Film journalists: in Lucas’ contract to sell Star Wars to Disney, was there a specific clause against releasing the holiday special?
