Little Things that would make me Squee if they were in Star Trek 14. in The Napkin.

-Kirk going through some elaborate scheme, and then ultimately just using a simple double-axe chop to disable someone.

-A running gag in subsequent movies as far as why Chekov isn’t there. Shore leave, being transferred, out with some alien STD, etc.

-Nick Frost as Harry Mudd. Not as a “villain” or major plot point, but just kind of there for some reason, being a foil to crew.

-Jaylah needing to be reminded to wear her uniform.

-Jaylah saying “This is my house now.”

-Sulu casually mentioning Demora, his daughter.

-Someone saying “We can’t just expect Starfleet to smack the entire alphabet on a ship if we break this one.”

-Someone commenting, “This mission is like going to save some goddamned whales.” Hrm. Sounds like Bones.

-McCoy with a full beard.

-MIRROR UNIVERSE.

-McCoy mentioning his father suffering from some illness, thereby being the first time Final Frontier has been referenced. (EDIT: The picture used in Beyond is a cast picture from Final Frontier. I even knew that, just skipped my mind.)

-Someone saying, “What are we going to do next, meet god?” Just one Final Frontier reference would make me happy.

-Since they didn’t show the interior of NCC-1701-A, REDESIGN THE INTERIOR. And put in some damned carpets or less shiny flooring.

-A mention of the Prime Directive forbidding the Federation from interferring with the Cardassian occupation of Bajor. Heck, since this is a different timeline, we KNOW Kirk would interfere.
