One of my dear friends reminded me I need to update this thing, so here I am :P

Ok, so I’m almost 16 weeks pregnant. O_o Crazy. This pregnancy is going by slowly. I know it’s been a while since I was pregnant (ya know, like 12 years) but I don’t remember it being so exhausting and I know I wasn’t as big either. I know they say you get bigger faster with your second, but geez this is ridic. Thank God I wear scrubs everyday because nothing fits. We find out what we’re having on April 5th and we can’t wait! I am so ready to start buying stuff and preparing. Just about 2 more weeks and we’ll know!

Besides being tired all the time, I am getting over the flu this week. I had to call in to work three days last week, which I hated doing because I’ve only been there for like two months. Speaking of my job, I really love it. But it’s also very tiring, I don’t know if it’s just because I’m pregnant or we’re really that busy (I’m a nutritionist for WIC) or what, but by the end of the day my feet are killing me and so is my back. Oh and last week I finally told my boss and coworkers I’m pregnant. I was very nervous, I felt extremely guilty going into a new job and being pregnant, but they were very supportive and it feels good to not have to hide it anymore. Not that I could really hide it any longer:

Sorry for the bad lighting…That was the morning of the day I told my work about being pregnant. We had a “staff development day” and so I was forced to wear “normal” clothes and I had NOTHING that helped conceal my bump or fit for that matter.

And we finally announced in on FB, guess it’s real now:

In other news, Cassidy is doing great. She did end up making her middle school soccer team and her season will be over next week. I also coached her rec team. Doing two soccer teams at the same time was not a smart idea. I have spent every evening after work hauling ass from one soccer field to the next. My team’s season ended last week, we got knocked out of the semi-final :( I was bummed we lost but I am so relieved to have the season over with. Between a new job, new pregnancy, the last semester of school, the rec team, school team, and everything else life throws at you, I have been running thin. Luckily, everything is going to be calming down now. I only have one more class left which will be over in 4 weeks and then I will have my degree in dietetics! Plus with soccer season over, I’ll actually be able to come home after work and not have to be anywhere or write a paper or study. It’ll be nice. I haven’t cooked supper in I don’t know how long. I’m ready to be back in a normal routine where I can actually breathe, I’ve been drowning for the past three months now.

Me and Bradley are great! I love him so much. He’s been the best support system. He’s the best dad to Cassidy and I can’t wait to see him with the new baby. He and Cassidy had a lunch date one day when they had a day off during the week and I was stuck at work, it’s moments like this that make me love him more and more:

Here’s me and Cassidy at her school soccer game last week:

So that’s pretty much all that’s been going on. Work, school, Cassidy, soccer, rinse, repeat. Hence why I haven’t been updating much. Life is good, I just really need a minute to breathe :/
