I'm alive! And with major news! in My Metamorphosis

So this happened…

Yup. I found out a little over a week ago. I know in my last entry (like four months ago) I wrote about trying to conceive, but since then I had pretty much given up. Really after nothing for a good 5,6 months I told myself my family was complete and I was done. Which is true. So now I’m not really thrilled about this. I’m sure it’ll come. But I like how my life is now. I like how our family is. shrugs I guess I just can’t be pleased O_o.

So I’m about 6 weeks 4 days I think. Something like that. According to my calculations I’m due September 7th. I have my gyno appt already scheduled for my second post-op pap next month, so I guess I’ll learn more then in regards to my due date and what not. Bradley is super excited though and so is Cassidy. I’ve only told close family (i.e. my brothers and my parents who are all excited) and then told my BFF’s. Haven’t officially announced it yet like on FB or anything because I do want to wait until 12 weeks at least.

It was interesting telling my parents. Would you believe at 29 years old, in a happy marriage for 3.5 years, financially stable I was STILL petrified to tell my parents??? I know it’s stupid, but all I could imagine was their reaction upon finding out I was pregnant with Cassidy. Yes I was 16. Yes it was completely different circumstances. But nevertheless, I was a nervous wreck. But they took the news well.

In other major news, I just got a job! I have been unemployed since the end of June last year. After I realized I wasn’t going to find a half decent job, I decided to pour myself into school and hurry and finish up the program with the hopes that in January I could get a job..

Well would you believe for once in my life something actually worked out as planned?? On Friday I got offered a job as a nutritionist for WIC!! That was my goal and exactly what I wanted to start off doing! I start on Wednesday and I cannot wait. I’m ready to start doing what I truly care about and so ready to start making some money. Bradley did a good job taking care of us during my time of unemployment, but I’m tired of literally living paycheck to paycheck. Our rent alone is $1100 a month. So I’m definitely ready to start having more wiggle room, which we def will have with my salary.

I’m almost done with school, I’m working on my last two classes which will be complete by the end of February!

Ummmm everything is really good (knock on wood)… Cassidy is doing great. She just tried out for her middle school soccer team. I’m really hoping she makes it. I’m also coaching her rec soccer team for the fourth season, so if she doesn’t make the school team, at least she still has that. Which will probably be my last season coaching for a while considering I’ll be like 8 months pregnant when the next season starts O_o.

Christmas was really good. I got to go visit my new niece for the first time in Tampa. Zion (stepson) came to visit for the first time since he moved out over the summer and it was worse than I could imagine. Nothing has changed. He is still a master-manipulater and a shiester and I was just really happy to see him leave. I know that sounds bad and I sound like the wicked step mother of the west, but Bradley worked the whole two weeks he was here so I was stuck with him and his shenanigans 24/7. The thought of him being here all summer long (on top of me being massively pregnant) seriously makes my blood pressure boil.

That’s pretty much it. Well, probably a lot more. I wish I updated more, school was just so crazy busy during the Fall semester and now that it’s finally calmed down I’m pregnant, starting a new job, and coaching soccer! But I promise to update more!
