A trailer is supposed to excite you or interest you. (x) The leaked trailer gives me a sense of dread. I don’t want more action shlock. I want a goddamned story. A moral. A latent philosophical debate arcing over their actions. A “needs of the many outweigh needs of the few” or “if there is to be a brave new world our generation is going to have the hardest time living in it.” While inconsistent with Picard’s previous actions, Insurrection touched on forced migration. Even Nemesis had a vague nature VS nurture arc, even if it was done badly.

Well, at least I have zero attachment to the new Star Wars movie.
