I know it was just a playful joke in a thread, but how is a vasectomy “taking one for the team”? Guys. No, not guys. PEOPLE WITH BALLS. Do you have any idea what people with uteruses and vaginas go through? If your partner popped out a kid, cutting your vas deferens is like 1% of what they’ve gone through JUST EXISTING.
If you’re done having kids, shut up and get a vasectomy.

YEAH! It also means good bye to revolting condoms and a wife who will be much more relaxed (and thus better) in bed!
Childbirth is easy but female birth control is awful and women getting their tubes ties is not very effective and a much bigger operation.

They bleed, they cramp, they HAVE KIDS OUT OF THEIR VAGINA OR GET CUT OPEN, and guys even dare to bitch about a small outpatient process to cut their vas deferens? Really now.

Not all guys, my dad and husband both had it done with no fuss.

I agree. My husband had some rare long term complications where he had to deal with chronic pain as a result of the operation for about a year and a half afterward, but despite this experience I wouldn't tell someone else not to do so, because it happens to less than 1/1000 surgeries. For everyone else recovery only takes a few weeks.

All operations have their .1%, right? If I had a year of ball-aches, I still don't think it would compare to an average lifetime of menstruation.
