Play-Fighting. in The Napkin.

My cats are chasing each other. Or, should I say, T’Pol is chasing Kira. T’Pol’s been pestering me for food for the past few hours. Which makes me wonder how they survive when I’m asleep. (Oh well, they sometimes crawl all over me.)

(Don’t worry, T’Pol is quite stocky, and I’ve tried fattening Kira up, but she’s just naturally skinny.)

I don’t know, it just made me think about when they were kittens. Sometimes I’d separate them, to keep them from quarreling. I know, kittens play-fight. But T’Pol sometimes bullies her sister.

Every time, they’d meow for each other. Maybe it’s because they were alone from another cat, I don’t know.

So when, now and them, I hear a cat cry out while they’re play-fighting, it’s always Kira on the receiving end. I take a moment to scruf T’Pol, flip her onto her back on my lap, and scold her while softly petting her head. Ooooh, she HATES when I flip her on her back. But, I’m the Dominant Cat, so she can deal with it. Then I grab Kira and make sure she’s okay. (She always is.)

....I don’t remember what my point was. Me and my points.
