.) If people hassle me on saying Happy Holidays, I’m just like “New Years is a holiday too!” and it throws ‘em.

.) We drag our feet on forgiving ourselves our messed-up pasts because it’d make us fully responsible for our unknown futures.

.) In the Fortress of Solitude in my head, I have songs associated with people the way Superman had wax statues of his friends. It’s weird.

.) When I’m rich, I’mma bankroll an album of Warren Zevon covers by friends’ bands called “Mystics & Statistics”. Just so you know.

.) It’s a “Let’s Forget The Prequels” sale, all Darth Mauls half off.

.) I won’t ever pretend that something was good just because it’s a part of my past. The Eighties were basically terrible.

.) Tis the seasoning, whatever the seasoning, as long as we’re past that pumpkin spice fad. We’re over that, right? RIGHT?!

.) We bring our baggage wherever we go but, if we try, we can change ourselves or at least collapse into the flow of somewhere new.

.) I’m working on trying to like myself consistently. Hopefully, change and newness will flow from it. I’m awesome, sometimes.

.) All those “be careful what you wish for” stories are subliminal reinforcement of traditional class structure. Wish big, Serling be damned.
