The only people who want to be feared are the people who are convinced they can’t be loved. Whether they’re correct or not, I can’t say, but it’s a problem either way.

People hear “make love, not war” and decide that means they’re supposed to make a war out of love as a loophole. Love isn’t a battle, a struggle, a competition, a revenge, a spite, and anything you think that’s love in any of those contexts is just ego or fear.
