The Hanna-Barbera cartoon “Top Cat” suggests the existence of “Bottom Cat”. This confused me for a while until I realized that Snagglepuss is definitely their Bottom Cat.

Best way to say is that this entire life is a Halloween. We get these silly meat-costumes for a handful of years, there’s some scares, some thrills, some death, some treats, help the littler ones cross the street. Sorta real but only in the context of a brief masquerade.
