A literary mash-up called THE ISLAND OF DOCTOR THOREAU where instead of vivisection, the doctor’s experiments are in convincing people the island is a lot further from civilization than it actually is.

I know term limits or age limits in politics SOUND fun, but really all they’d do is eliminate people w/ the experience to meaningfully leverage political power from the system. Career lobbyists would have FIELD DAYS w/ even the most idealistic short-lived newbies. It’d be WORSE.

Napped after work (it’s been a long crazy week) and the dog woke me up, looking to be walked. It’s almost October but the frogs and the bugs still sound like the middle of August out there. We have really really screwed up nature, haven’t we.

As all retailers other than Wal-Mart seem to be doomed, what will NBC do when Macy’s finally dies? I mean, The Parade is one of the last non-sport live events anyone still watches but when, someone else buys the naming rights, will it still start at where Macy’s used to be?

Not enough people know about both the earlier work of the Beatles AND internet memes about over-the-counter sleep-aid abuse for a parody of TAXMAN about The Hatman to work, but I’m just saying that in a better world, it would be SPECTACULAR.
