Dude, I ate beans&rice before bed, and my weight is still lower than it was yesterday.
THIS JS WILDSAUCE.
I mean, I know the math. I’m in sharp enough of a deficit that a small portion of beans&rice isn’t enough to dump into a surplus. It’s just that classic “don’t eat before bed” rule.
Oh, it’s still a decent guideline. But, certainly not one-size-fits-all.
Bumping my calories up has correlated with better sleep. And better sleep correlates with a better mood. It’s the difference between passive chipperness, and that deadpan “yeah, just existing because I haven’t killed myself”.
172.4. I definitely think I can get to 155 in three months time.
It’ll certainly be nice to be in shape as I enter my prime. YA KNOW, BECAUSE FORTY-ONE IS A PRIME NUMBER.
Seriously though, having less girth around my waistline feels so much better. Just moving around and existing feels easier. Tying my shoelaces at 205 lbs was a goddamned ordeal.
People have to notice when their meatbag has become cumbersome, right? And I don’t mean the anorexic 100 lb wafers looking for thinspiration.
Then again. I’ve been a modest sized human most of my life. I’m used to being able to crouch, squeeze past things. I am a liquid - psrt-cat!
On a spectrum, losing 1 lb/week is way easier than trying to gain 1 lb/week. You think bulking is easier until you have to deal with daily stomach distention. Ew.
Anyway, I’ll shut up before I ruin this mood by shooting my mouth off further, haha.
