Thank you so much for the overwhelming amount of advice and support I received on my last entry. My head was seriously about to explode and I have NO one to talk to about it really. Except for my mom. Since moving out our relationship has drastically improved. Anyways, I liked to say things with the Zion situation have improved but it really hasn’t.
After my last entry I experienced not one, but TWO more MAJOR tantrums from him. One was after I picked him up from football practice, he WAILED. I mean screaming bloody murder “cries” the whole way home because he’s “such a failure” (his words not mine). Dramatic much? I wanted to tell him to shut the fuck up, but I tried to be sympathetic and talk to him about it. No dice. He just kept screaming like a new born baby. The second we got home, I mean the second we pulled up into the driveway and he saw his dad, he abruptly stopped.
You gotta be f-ing kidding me.
Then, the very next day, I took them over to my parent’s house to go swimming and he and Cassidy got into a fight in the pool. I saw him throwing the diving toys at her head and pushing her under the water (I was watching them through the kitchen window as I filled my mom in on the latest football practice tantrum). Anyway, long story short it turned into a screaming match..him screaming that is. And being super disrespectful. When me or my mom would try to talk to him he would go under the water.
Are you fucking kidding me?
I called Bradley (who fortunately was just getting off of work) and told him to come to my moms ASAP. I got a good bit of his tantrum on video. He’s such a brat. Bradley semi took care of the situation but didn’t ground him or anything. The fuck?
Then, a few days later he got in trouble at school for doodling in his friends book that his friend had let him borrow for the past week or so. When the teacher got involved he said CASSIDY did it! Are you shitting me? It was HIS doodles, of the stupid characters of the stupid shows that HE watches. I know for a fact he did it. Cassidy never had the book because HE wouldn’t let her borrow it! He never came clean about it. Kept blaming cassidy. So we ground him for a week, only for Bradley to let him off after four days because he had been “acting really good.” Well duh! He SHOULD be acting good. And he’s been in his room, how much damage COULD he do? After all the stunts he’s been pulling, he should be a perfect angel. So I was pissed he let him off of restriction… cue big ass fight in the Walmart parking lot. I got out of the truck and called my dad and told him to come get me. I’m so over this bullshit.
We’re fine…for now. I’m tired of Zion forcing a wedge between Bradley and I. We need to get on the same page before this marriage is ruined.
On a good note, we found a house! Just to clarify, we are selling our house and renting another. We know we will only be here for two more years at the most, so it’s just easier to rent for now. I was getting worried because we were really running out of housing options. Everything in our price range was too small, or didn’t take pets, or too far away. Then finally I found the perfect house. It’s on a cul-de-sac, it’s in a small, quiet neighborhood, has a HUGE front and backyard, and is in a great school district. I looked at it on Monday, paid the deposit on Tuesday and we will be moving in there this weekend! I’m not exactly thrilled about the packing and moving part, but I’m super ready for a nice, safe house for our family.
Here are a few pics, I’ll post more once we’re settled:

The view from the front porch. I can’t wait to get rocking chairs and a front porch swing!

The dining room

View from the backdoor through the kitchen.. the backyard is GINORMOUS!

Family room, it’s super big but you can’t really tell here:

The kitchen. It’s a little dated. Actually there’s a lot of dated things about this house (vinyl flooring, wallpaper in the bathrooms). If I was buying this house I’d make a ton of modern upgrades. But for now, it’s just perfect the way it is.

School started this week. Goodbye social life. Actually, I have no social life, but goodbye any spare time. Between school, work, the kids, and this move I won’t have time for much. I need to make time for the gym because I am just depressed with how I look. I need to make some serious changes and delegate my time better (like not procrastinating by getting on Prosebox!)

My dad was here for his 60th birthday party. That’s my mom and dad and two of my three brothers (the youngest is in PT school in Scotland). Ignore my hot mess hair, it was 116 degrees!
