  1. The worst thing nostalgia does, of all its many horrors, is create a sense that since the past was so good, the best we can do is repeat it and, short of that, just give up on futures entirely. Retreat into apocalyptic nihilism. I still wanna look forward. I still wanna look up.

  2. Why call them SIGHTSEEING CRUISES when you could call them NAVAL GAZING? For heaven’s sake, do other people not devote 17% of their mental processing at all times on finding the puns?

  3. The major difference between Elon Musk and Lex Luthor at this point is that, you know, Lex Luthor is actually smart. Musk’s daddy just gave a bunch of people emeralds to tell him he was smart and the little Dunning-Kruger case bought it and here we are in the hell universe.

  4. A Soundgarden parody about the short-lived MacDonalds mascot Mac Tonight called “Moonman”?

  5. It’s just exhausting, seeing every day how so many people consider incredibly minor inconveniences to save other peoples’ lives as “infringements on their freedoms”. What a broken selfish culture. You hear “me me me” so often, you think you’re at a vocal recital in a 40s cartoon.

  6. I will probably never have an owl familiar but if I ever do, I am sure as hell naming it “Doctor Hoo”.

  7. A story about a spider who draws manga into her spinnings called CHARLOTTE’S WEEB.

  8. You know what we need? Tautological bumper stickers. IF YOU CAN READ THIS, YOU’RE LITERATE. HONK IF YOU’RE HITTING THE BUTTON ON THE STEERING WHEEL. MY HONORS STUDENT CAN DO WELL ON STANDARDIZED TESTING. Stuff like that.
