Just because a joke is hacky doesn’t necessarily mean it can’t get a laugh, it just means you didn’t have to flex your muscles. For example: “It must’ve been easy filming The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City, they were all married to the same guy!” See? Hacky but still pleasant.
