Sleep Report, 2-9-21 in The Napkin.

Mood was probably best mid-day yesterday. A “fine” at best, which a touch of sadness. Strike that, I also felt “fine” when I went to bed.
Well, not quite, either.
I just wasn’t hungry all day. This happens sometimes. And when i finally got around to eating around 10:30 pm, I ended up puking after a few bites. Geez. Wasn’t expecting that. Resting my tummy for a bit, then ate a little. Probably lost all my sleep aids, so when I did finally go to bed, I took 1 more mg of melatonin, and one zzquil.
Considering how bad my quality of sleep has been, I slept pretty good. Around 8 hours in bed. I was a touch worried that marathoning Black Lightning on Netflix might give me bad dreams. It’s a touch violent, and I have to look away at times. Instead, the vague blur of dreams had to do with people realizing their superpowers, in a positive way.
A touch of tossing and turning, but nothing critical. Lazing in bed in the middle of night and towards the morning was more a restful “I think I’ll just lay here a bit more” as opposed to worrying about sleep. Any thoughts were more discontented nonsense, rather than present-moment awareness of being in my body. Much preferred.
I may break my own rule (of not taking sleep aids in consecutive days) and take my sleep aids tonight. If the magnesium/zinc/B-complex doesn’t bother my stomach, may even get vivid dreams again. I just don’t like taking melatonin and zzquil regularly, because it actually WORKS. Don’t want to risk getting desensitized.
Nice to not be so caught up in how shitty I feel for once.
Now if only I can make myself shower today....
