  1. The emotional rollercoaster that’s the uncertainty of life in time of plague, man, I intellectually expected it but really-real ready for it, I was not. Everything, the fear, the little goods you manage to find, the lows, the tedium, everything is amplified to 11.

  2. I can’t help but just thinking, over & over, how if the Bernie Bros hadn’t taken their ball & gone home when the DNC wouldn’t change their rules after the fact in 2016 to let their old white man win, we’d have an adult at the helm right now.

  3. Sylvester Stallone cast as the Swamp Thing, yelling at the people attacking his swamp “I AM the lawn!”

  4. I yell at my writer’s block: LESS PROFOUND AND COMPELLING, MORE COMPOUND AND PROPELLING!

  5. I feel like we’re pretending that the problem is that we’re bored because we’re trying to pretend we’re tough and strong and, oh man, it’s just tedious. We’re disconnected and terrified and lack control. We gotta admit we’re afraid of losing everything.

  6. Let’s go back to the timeline where people are taking apart their bras to make eyepatches for statues to turn them into pirates, not where they’re taking apart their bras to make breathing masks so they can go out and buy gasoline.

  7. We have much to fear, but most of all, the fearlessness of selfish idiots. Who want a beach party in the middle of a plague, who will only vote for their first choice in the middle of the rise of fascism. It’s all the same selfish fearlessness. And it’s killing us.

  8. With Dick Pound in the news so often with the postponement of the Olympics, I have to think that at least once a lover of his has snidely commented to someone “More like Dick Ounce, am I right?”
