canceled... but not in Second 1st

So, yesterday Nicole and William came to play D&D. Last week before they left I had them level up. Well, William leveled up Nicole’s character and said he’d get his during the week. Then after getting himself a bowl of food he started. I honestly thought he would have done that during the week.
Nicole wanted to talk a ton so we left him to it ans she went on about 800 things. Mostly her kids and then focusing on Emerson… Emerson has autism. He’s honestly a bit of a sore spot for Nicole and William. Nicole’s oldest is home schooled (the 2 other school aged boys aren’t). William thinks it would be best if Emerson went to a regular school. I agree to be honest. She told a story about how he’s finally learned to recognize the letter A and how she was nearly in tears.... the thing about that is 1)over reaction or her reaction being misunderstood. 2) that extra coddling he will never be socialized at all. 3) I know she says she has a degree but unless it’s in special education or social services I fail to see how HER attention would be better than a trained professional.... no matter that she is his mother. She went on to tell me she doesn’t like that her child is made fun of by other kids. “what am I supposed to do look at the little fuckers and yell at them” I told her to talk to the principal about a small educational presentation. She didn’t seem to like that idea.... well that’s right because it would lean towards him going to regular school. Or whatever.... just keep making it harder for everyone with your coddling and your needs.
She talked about her oldest son being a “wigger” and needing someone to give him a firm hand.... needing William to show him a firm hand.... show HER son a firm hand.... who is 15.... smh she might as well take that as a loss.

Ultimately, I was a fair bit drunk by the time William and Rocky (who also did not level up and had the books here all week) were ready to play. We kinda cancelled .... sitting here lol. Instead we opted to play Encore.... which we didn’t actually play. So the actual game has word cards… you land on a space read the cord on that color then teams/players take turns trying to name songs with that word in it. You have to be able to sing 6 words for it to count. Instead of playing we just read random words off the cards for like an hour....
Really William and I sang songs and Nicole and Rocky got all quiet and bored lol.... don’t care… had fun....
In spite of everyone eating a fair bit of food and twice as many cookies as I expected there are still left overs. I’m going to fix some rice sometime today and portion them out for the weekend.
I have a bit of a hangover :(.... can’t really tell if it’s a migraine off and on or light sensitivity from a not so over powering headache.... but it was 10 before I got to tarot because getting up is hard today.

I had asked Rocky to bring stuff in from the van to log.... and he didn’t so I keep thinking about starting on the smalls box I bought. .... I let William and Nicole look at it last week and someone said there was a Versace jacket in there. I confirmed this morning.... So there should be my money back for everything in the box and then some. However, I really don’t have the get up and do to log it today. smh I’m way more concerned with making sure things I need done for the weekend are done (laundry, dishes, food) when I do have the umpf to do anything. sigh I’d say it’s my own fault but I’ve got to be better about telling Nicole when I’m done.... she kept bringing me new bottles. I would have drank sooo much less.
