Sunset and flowers in The View from the Terrace

There was a beautiful sunset this evening, the best so far this year. It wrapped right around the sky. I took this photo facing almost north.

On evenings like this I am so thankful that I live here.

Yesterday was another warm spring day and I was able to spend the afternoon in the garden. The hanging baskets are looking especially beautiful at the moment.

The forsythia is coming out and looking at the sunset through the blossom was very pretty.
