What a day!! in keeping it postive

I went to another movie from the Latino film festival. This time I went with a neighbor (I'd been told by another friend that I could get discount tickets - so they were free with $4 each "handling fee"). We both loved the movie: Mi mejor regalo (my best gift).

After the movie, I introduced my friend to the Japanese restaurant SanSei. It's sort of fast food - but cooked to order. We both ordered the salmon plate - mine came with brown rice, miso soup, a veggie kabab and sumi salad (she had similar food - skipped the rice and got two veggie kababs). We were both quite satisfied. She'd never been there before and although she doesn't love Japanese food, she enjoyed this place.

Then... on to Trader Joe's. It opened fairly close by, and we'd discussed going - for months... Ah, finally. I stocked up - getting various items that will last a long time - and getting many for "quick" eating. I rarely spend that much at Trader Joe's - over $70!!

The weather was perfect, the company was grand... a wonderful day for sure.
